Verus Gear covers the equipment obtainable from the Charleston Crisis instance (Supplement Equipment, Reinforced Parts, Charleston Weapons) and from the Verus Research Building questline (Excellion Gear).
Supplement Equipment
Equipment from the Charleston Crisis instance. Items can be bought by talking to Mass Charleston (verus04 71, 106) for 10x Charleston Components each.
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
This mechanical device uses the power of science to optimize your strength. You can combine it with other variants for a synergetic effect.
| |
This mechanical device heals wounds and rejuvenates your body.
| |
Mechanical boots that keep you light on your feet. They are much lighter than they look.
| |
This mechanical device promotes the precise and timely execution of spells.
|
Supplement Enchants
Mechanic items above can be enchanted by talking to Mass Charleston (verus04 71, 106).
Enchanting requires 1x
Charleston Component (6752) and 100,000 zeny. Enchants can be reset the same way (1x
Charleston Component + 100,000 zeny).
Enchantment has 3 slots; items refined to +9 or above unlock a wider option list for the 4th slot. The 4th slot has a 100% success chance; the 3rd slot has a chance of failure (resets all enchants on failure); the 2nd slot has a chance of failure (either resets all enchants or breaks the gear).

Excellion Gear
The Excellion set is an armor group built from lost technology of a ruined laboratory, consisting of a suit and a garment. Unlike other Verus equipment, these can be used by any job and only require Base Level 99 to equip. They're highly customizable via reactor blueprints. The questline begins at Verus (verus04 164, 218).
- MARS_01 — supply 1x Old Fuel (6962) to get both units running; afterward, MARS_01 enchants your Excellion gear with reactor blueprints.
- PLUTO_09 — crafts Excellion gear and produces reactor blueprints. For 10x Huge Metal Scrap (6961) + 5x Old Fuel (6962), gives one of Excellion Suit or Excellion Wing at random.
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Excelion Suit (15128) | A suit made from the lost technology in Research Building.
|
| Excelion Wing (20773) | A wing made from the lost technology in Research Building Ruins.
|
Excellion Enchant
The Excellion set is enchanted using reactor blueprints crafted by PLUTO_09 from 1x Old Fuel (6962) per attempt — PLUTO_09 either hands back a random blueprint or fails to produce one. With an Excellion piece and blueprints in inventory, talk to MARS_01 to apply them. Applying a blueprint always consumes it but never fails. Each Excellion Suit/Wing can hold a maximum of 3 enchants.
Note: Supportive Reactor ASPD is the only blueprint that adds a "Carefree" prefix to the item, regardless of which slot it's enchanted into.
