Item Refine

Item Refine makes your equipment +1 stronger and can give various bonuses depending on item type.

Overview

Normal equipment has max refine level of +20

Shadow equipment has max refine level of +10, but can reach +12 using File:44636.png Shadow Essence

To refine an equipment, bring it to Hollgrehenn in Item Workshop

Catalysts such as Ores and zeny are required

How to Refine

Go to Item Workshop Talk to Hollgrehenn at /navi prt_in 63/59

Select the equipment you want to refine

Prepare required materials:

1. Correct ore for your item type/level
2. Zeny
3. Optional protection items (example: Blacksmith's Blessing)

Pity Refine Bonus (Custom Feature)

This custom feature grants +2% pity refine bonus each time you fail.

Pity Rules

+2% bonus is added per failed attempt

Pity resets to 0% when:

• You succeed a refine
• You switch the refined item
• You log out

Warning GM do not responsible of Pity loss if you exit room, server disconnect by accident or purpose, trade to others, use storage during Pity process or any other actions beside normal refining is on player, be well prepared when refining.

Refinement Bonuses

Weapon's Refinement Bonus

Each refine level on weapons gives extra attack bonus based on Weapon Level and Grade.

ATK, MATK will be displayed in your status window.

Bonus ATK & MATK per Refine Over Safety will NOT be displayed in your status window.

Over Safety is defined as refine levels below 100.00% probability using Normal Ore.

All damage bonuses are cumulative for the total refine.

Additional weapon bonus depends on the weapon description.

Armor's Refinement Bonus

Armors refine bonus includes: Bodygear, Garment, Shield, Shoes, Headgear.

Every upgrade increases Hard DEF by:

Floor[( 3 + Curr_Upgrade ) ÷ 4]

Hard DEF per Refine Range

Every +1 refine at +1 ~ +4 increases Hard DEF by 1

Every +1 refine at +5 ~ +8 increases Hard DEF by 2

Every +1 refine at +9 ~ +12 increases Hard DEF by 3

Every +1 refine at +13 ~ +16 increases Hard DEF by 4

Every +1 refine at +17 ~ +20 increases Hard DEF by 5

Shadow Gear's Refinement Bonus

Shadow equipment are special and unique equipped in the Costume equip section.

Refine up to +10

Extend up to +20 with File:44636.png Shadow Essence

Additional Hidden Bonus

Each refine of Shadow Weapons increases: ATK +1, MATK +1

Each refine of other Shadow Equipment increases: MaxHP +10

Blacksmith’s Blessing

Blacksmith’s Blessing is used to prevent losing anything during a failed attempt of refining.

Effect

• Prevents all penalties on refine failure
• Supports regular equipment refine from +5 to +17
• Does not work on Shadow Gear
