Chrono RO - Server FAQ

There is no bug.

Illusion content is currently under a major rework, and we have reduced EXP from Illusion mobs and quests on purpose.

Why?

Our server has a content cap at level 200 and 3rd classes. Even with a 3x rate server, Illusion mobs were giving much more EXP than almost any other monsters in the same level range.

With the combination of:

  • very efficient leveling,
  • Advanced Paradise gear,
  • and high Illusion EXP,

the game was turning into “Illusion-only leveling” instead of a low-rate progression experience.

Our Goal

We want a smoother leveling path and more reasons to:

  • explore different maps,
  • farm different monsters,
  • trade items with other players,
  • and build a healthier in-game economy.

This is an intentional design decision.

We do not provide Advanced Paradise Level 100 weapons because they can be used for a long time and remove the need to look for other weapon options during early progression.

Why?

Level 100 Advanced Paradise weapons are strong enough to carry a character for too many levels.

Because of that, players often:

  • skip early gear progression,
  • ignore drops from other maps,
  • avoid crafting or trading starter weapons,
  • and level with the same weapon for too long.

This hurts the progression flow and makes early gearing less interesting.

Our Goal

We want players to:

  • try different weapons,
  • upgrade step by step,
  • farm useful drops,
  • and make real gearing choices at early and mid levels.
  • use trades to boost economy.

Chat Channels

When you join the server, you automatically join these channels:

  • #main - general conversations about the game or anything else.
  • #trade - buy/sell posts only. A short posting delay is applied to prevent spam.
  • #party - visible to all players currently on your map.

Our main city is Prontera - it's where most activity happens and where you'll find every important NPC on the server.
