Episode 15.2: The Memory Records

Episode 15.2 continues the main story quest line from 15.1 Phantasmagorika in Verus City. This chapter dives deeper into Ian Atnad's backstory and tasks the player with gathering memory records, which unlock new daily quests in addition to the dailies from the previous quest line. Compared to 15.1, this quest is less involved, consisting mostly of talking to NPCs and gathering items that are readily available.

Walkthrough

1. Continuing from the previous storyline, talk to Ian Atnad. He will instruct you to investigate the R&D-WISH Research Facilities area (Verus 02), north of Verus Center Square.
2. Enter the north portal of Verus Center Square at verus03 169|256.
3. A pile of Strewn Paper will be located just northwest of your position after entering the portal. Selecting "Check it adequately" grants 1 Memory Record once the loading bar finishes.
4. Show the Memory Record to Ian Atnad — he will ask you to speak with Commander Arquien back at Eden Paradise Group Headquarters.
5. Speak to Commander Arquien at moc_para01 133|170 and type "Record Player" into the text bar that appears.
6. She will ask for 5 more Memory Records. Return to R&D-WISH Research Facilities (Verus 02) and look for more Strewn Paper piles to retrieve them.

   Tip: Walking a bit west of the first pile (northwest of the portal) reveals a second pile of Strewn Paper, letting you collect two Memory Records at a time.

7. Head to Commander Arquien at verus04 172|149 and show her the Memory Records. After speaking with her, click the Record Player to her left to hear the recording.
8. After listening, speak to her again — she will ask you to return to Ian Atnad. Talking to her rewards 750,000 Base EXP and 500,000 Job EXP.
9. Tell Ian Atnad the contents of the Memory Record. He reveals that his ancestors are from the city of Verus, and asks you to travel to Lab-OPTATIO (Verus 01), northwest of Verus Center Square, to obtain Laboratory Memory Records.
10. Enter the northwest portal of Verus Center Square at verus03 55|251.
11. Cross the map until you reach Verity near the center of Lab-OPTATIO verus01 123|181. Tell her you're there for the underground bunker investigation — she will warp you into the Under Bunker.
12. Search the area for glowing effects similar to the Strewn Paper found in Verus 02. Each one grants 1 Laboratory Memory Record.
13. After collecting 5 Laboratory Memory Records, return to Commander Arquien in Verus. She will instruct you to listen to the recording again via the Record Player.
14. When the recording finishes, you receive a Record Piece. Speak to Commander Arquien again, who directs you back to Ian Atnad.
15. You will receive 750,000 Base EXP and 500,000 Job EXP, and unlock the "Collect Memory Records of Research Facilities" and "Collect Memory Records of Laboratories" daily quests.
16. Return to Ian Atnad and select the "About the Memory Records" option to conclude the episode.
