Abyss Crimson
Abyss Crimson
Abyss Crimson is a personal endgame farming instance that creates an isolated clone of the map aby_crim for you and your party. The monsters, bonuses, and boss encounters are fully determined by a Waystone item that you configure before entering.
Requirements
- Minimum character level: 180
- Must be in a party (solo players must create a 1-person party)
- One Waystone item (Item ID: 80010) with all 4 enchant stones inserted
- No active Abyss Crimson instance already open
- Cooldown from a previous run must have expired
How to Open
- Find the NPC Abyss Crimson Waystone in Valquora (coordinates 149, 170)
- Select Open Abyss Crimson Map
- Choose which Waystone to use (if you have multiple, a selection menu will appear)
- Review the bonus summary and party info, then confirm
- The Waystone is consumed and all online party members are warped inside instantly
- Monsters appear after a short delay
Waystone System
The Waystone is the key item that defines your instance. It accepts 4 enchant stones — one per slot. Each slot controls a different aspect of the instance. All 4 slots must be filled with valid stones to open a map.
Slot 1 — Bonus Drop
Determines which bonus item drops from farm monsters and its base drop chance.
| Stone ID | Item | Base Chance |
|---|---|---|
| 81000 | Blacksmith Blessing | 0.10% |
| 81001 | Platinum Bullion | 10% |
| 81002 | HD Elunium | 0.20% |
| 81003 | Kachua Key | 0.10% |
| 81004 | Event Coin | 10% |
Slot 2 — Monster Cluster
Determines which group of monsters populates the entire map. All farm mobs will be from the selected cluster only.
| Stone ID | Cluster | Monsters |
|---|---|---|
| 81010 | Niflheim | Ghost Cube, Lude Gal, Brutal Murderer, Gan Ceann |
| 81011 | Oz Labyrinth | Oz Labyrinth monsters (4 types) |
| 81012 | Gray Wolf Forest | Gray Wolf Forest monsters (5 types) |
Slot 3 — Drop Rate Bonus
Increases the final drop chance of the Slot 1 bonus item.
| Stone ID | Bonus |
|---|---|
| 81020 | +10% to drop chance |
| 81021 | +25% to drop chance |
| 81022 | +50% to drop chance |
Slot 4 — Boss Modifier
Controls what type of extra boss spawns in your instance.
| Stone ID | Effect |
|---|---|
| 81030 | +1 Mini Boss spawns on map start |
| 81031 | +2 Mini Bosses spawn on map start |
| 81032 | +3 Mini Bosses spawn on map start |
| 81033 | +1 MVP — unlocked after 500 monster kills |
Drop Chance Formula
The final drop chance is calculated in the following order:
Final Chance = Base Chance
+ (Base Chance × Slot 3 Bonus%)
+ (result × Party Drop Bonus%)
× 2 (if Bubble Gum is active)
Party Drop Bonus
Each additional party member beyond the first adds +10% to the final drop chance.
| Party Size | Party Drop Bonus |
|---|---|
| 1 player | +0% |
| 2 players | +10% |
| 3 players | +20% |
| 4 players | +30% |
| 5 players | +40% |
| 6 players | +50% |
Bubble Gum
If you have an active Bubble Gum buff when a monster dies, the final drop chance is doubled.
Example
Kachua Key (base 0.10%) with Slot 3 +50%, party of 3 players, and Bubble Gum active:
0.10% + (0.10% × 50%) = 0.15% ← Slot 3 bonus applied 0.15% + (0.15% × 20%) = 0.18% ← Party bonus applied (+10% per extra player) 0.18% × 2 = 0.36% ← Bubble Gum doubles the result
Party Scaling
The number of monsters spawned at the start scales with party size.
Starting Monsters = 50 + ((Party Size − 1) × 10)
| Party Size | Monsters on Start |
|---|---|
| 1 | 50 |
| 2 | 60 |
| 3 | 70 |
| 4 | 80 |
| 5 | 90 |
| 6 | 100 |
When a farm monster is killed, a new one immediately respawns — the map never empties. Every 50 kills the server announces the total kill count to the party.
Milestones
As you accumulate kills, two special events trigger during the run.
Treasure Chest — 100 Kills
After 100 monster kills a Treasure Chest NPC appears at coordinates 110, 109.
- Every party member can interact with the chest and claim a reward once per instance
- The reward is drawn randomly from the following table:
| Chance | Reward |
|---|---|
| 20% | Blacksmith Blessing ×1 |
| 20% | Kachua Key ×1 |
| 30% | Eden Coin ×30 |
| 30% | Event Coin ×30 |
MVP Summoner — 500 Kills (Slot 4: +1 MVP only)
If your Waystone has the +1 MVP stone in Slot 4, after 500 monster kills a Mysterious Figure NPC appears at coordinates 99, 99.
- Talk to the NPC and choose to summon the ancient one
- The MVP spawns at coordinates 120, 122
- The MVP is selected randomly from the available pool each run
- Any party member can trigger the summon, but it can only happen once per instance
Available MVPs:
| Monster ID | Notes |
|---|---|
| 20668 | Randomly selected |
| 20422 | Randomly selected |
Mini Bosses
If Slot 4 contains a Mini Boss modifier (+1 / +2 / +3), the corresponding number of Mini Bosses spawn immediately when the map initializes. Each Mini Boss is chosen randomly from the pool below.
| Monster ID |
|---|
| 22522 |
| 22511 |
| 22512 |
| 22507 |
Mini Boss Rewards
| Reward | Chance / Amount |
|---|---|
| Instance Coins | 5–15 (guaranteed) |
| Blacksmith Blessing | 10% chance ×1 |
| Waystone bonus drop | Standard drop roll applies |
Instance Management
The Waystone NPC at Valquora offers the following options:
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Open Abyss Crimson Map | Creates a new instance and warps your entire party inside |
| Enter my last Abyss Map | Warps you back into your current active instance |
| Destroy my last Abyss Map | Manually destroys your instance and resets all data |
| How does it work? | Opens the in-game help dialog |
Cooldown
After an instance is destroyed or expires, all party members who were present at creation receive a cooldown. You cannot open a new Abyss Crimson map until the cooldown expires.
Entry Restriction
Only players who were in the party at the time the instance was created are automatically warped in. Players added to the party after creation cannot enter the map.
If you exit the instance and need to return, use the Enter my last Abyss Map option at the Waystone NPC. Party members can also use this option if they were in the original party.
Tips
- Bring Bubble Gum if farming Blacksmith Blessing or Kachua Key — it doubles your drop chance
- Larger parties are always better: more monsters spawn and your drop bonus increases
- The Treasure Chest at 100 kills gives every party member a free reward — never skip it
- If you are aiming for the MVP encounter, kill efficiently to reach 500 kills before the instance timer expires
- If the NPC shows your map as still active after you destroyed it through the instance window, simply open the NPC dialog — it automatically detects expired instances and resets your state
