World Boss Event
Overview
The World Boss Event is designed to enhance player engagement and create an exhilarating experience by involving the entire community. The event is triggered when the combined monster kill count from all players reaches 1,000,000 kills, sparking a series of epic encounters that culminate in a fight against a powerful world boss. This event fosters both competition and cooperation among players, offering exciting rewards and rankings.
Mechanics
1. Activation
The World Boss Event is activated once the total number of monster kills across all players reaches 1,000,000 kills. This milestone encourages the entire community to contribute toward a collective goal, creating a sense of unity and excitement.
2. Boss Summoning
- Once the event is activated, a powerful world boss will begin summoning waves of monsters in randomly selected towns, chosen by the World Boss NPC.
- These waves serve as both a challenge for players and a precursor to the final confrontation. The waves escalate in difficulty until the world boss itself is summoned.
- The event culminates with the summoning of the main boss, which must be defeated by the players.

This boss takes equal damage from all different kinds of skill types, except when the boss is summoned... a random change takes over. This change will determine which he takes 100% damage from and which other categories only deal 50%. This is randomized everytime. |

Skeleton Queen can summon a skeleton once every 3 seconds using the corpse of a player. This skeleton will grant the Skeleton Queen a 5% damage reduction which stacks with its basic 50%. After 10 skeletons are alive, Skeleton Queen is fully immune to any damage until one or more skeletons have been killed. |

3. Ranking System
To encourage competition and participation, the event features three ranking categories:

| Wave Kills Ranking | Tracks the number of monsters killed by players during each wave, rewarding the most active participants. |
| Player Damage Ranking | Records the total damage dealt by each player during the boss fight, rewarding those who contribute the most to the battle. |
| Guild Damage Ranking | Tracks the total damage dealt by each guild, encouraging guilds to work together to maximize their contributions. |
4. Rewards
Custom Monster Drops
When a boss monster is killed, items rain down and scatter across the ground for all participants, and the player who lands the last hit receives a bonus reward.
Dropped items do NOT go directly into your inventory — you must pick them up from the ground.
Wave Ranking Rewards
Points are earned for surviving World Boss waves, and the top 3 players receive additional rewards:

The specific rewards and types of monsters summoned are configurable via the event script, allowing for flexibility and adjustments based on server preferences. Special prizes are awarded to top-ranking players in each category.
