Eden Expedition Event

The Eden Expedition Event is a global automatic event that opens a temporary portal in the center of Valquora. Once the portal is open, players may enter a special expedition area and choose between two different routes: Normal and Easy.

This event is designed around Episode 18 content. The expedition maps used in the event are not the original public maps, but custom event copies of them:

  • eden_exp1 = copy of gw_fild01
  • eden_exp2 = copy of gw_fild02

The monsters used in this event are also taken from the standard Episode 18 monster pool of these locations.

Event Schedule

The event starts automatically 4 times per day:

  • 02:00
  • 08:00
  • 14:00
  • 20:00

Event Duration

Each event run lasts for 1 hour.

Before the portal opens, the server announces a short countdown. When the countdown ends, the portal becomes available in:

  • Valquora — center of the city

At the end of the event:

  • the portal closes,
  • all expedition monsters are removed,
  • all players inside the expedition maps are warped back to Valquora.

Route Selection

After entering the portal, players can choose one of two routes:

  • Normal Expedition → eden_exp2
  • Easy Expedition → eden_exp1

Both routes are separate event instances based on the standard Episode 18 Gray Wolf area.

Core Objective

Each route contains its own Expedition Core.

If a player destroys the Core, they receive:

  • 1x Item ID 6635

Each route has its own Core, so the Normal and Easy routes are handled separately.

Mini Quest

Inside each expedition map, players can talk to the Expedition Guide to start a mini quest.

Mini Quest Objective

  • Defeat 150 monsters on the selected route

Mini Quest Reward

  • 15 Eden Coins

Important Rules

  • The mini quest must be started manually from the Expedition Guide
  • Progress only counts on the route where the quest was accepted
  • You cannot start the quest on one route and continue it on the other
  • Progress updates are shown every 25 kills
  • After reaching 150 / 150, return to the guide NPC to claim the reward
  • If the reward cannot be received because of weight, the player must free inventory weight and talk to the NPC again

Monster Spawns

Main Expedition Monsters

The main Episode 18 monsters are spawned across the selected expedition map depending on the active route.

For the current Gray Wolf setup:

Normal Route (eden_exp2 / gw_fild02 copy)

The following monsters are spawned:

  • Monster ID 21303 × 40
  • Monster ID 21305 × 40
  • Monster ID 21304 × 40
  • Monster ID 21307 × 40
  • Monster ID 21306 × 40

Easy Route (eden_exp1 / gw_fild01 copy)

The following monsters are spawned:

  • Monster ID 31060 × 40
  • Monster ID 31061 × 40
  • Monster ID 31062 × 40
  • Monster ID 31063 × 40
  • Monster ID 31064 × 40

Main Monster Respawn

When one of the main expedition monsters is killed, it is added to the respawn queue and respawns again after:

  • 10 seconds

This keeps the map active throughout the event and allows players to continue farming.

Additional Wave Monster

In addition to the main monster pool, the event also spawns a separate extra monster:

  • Monster ID 31042

Wave Logic

At the moment the portal opens:

  • 10 extra monsters are spawned on the Normal route
  • 10 extra monsters are spawned on the Easy route

After that, new waves continue to appear:

  • every 10 minutes
  • 10 additional monsters per route

This system is independent from the main family monster respawn.

How To Join

  1. Wait for the server announcement
  2. Go to the portal location in Valquora
  3. Enter the portal when it opens
  4. Choose either the Normal or Easy route
  5. Talk to the Expedition Guide inside the map to start the mini quest
  6. Hunt monsters, destroy the Core, and claim rewards before the event ends

Summary

The Eden Expedition Event is a timed Episode 18-based hunting event that offers:

  • two route choices: Normal and Easy
  • cloned expedition maps based on gw_fild01 and gw_fild02
  • standard Episode 18 monsters
  • a Core reward
  • a 150-kill mini quest for Eden Coins
  • additional timed monster waves
  • automatic cleanup and player return after the event ends

  • Tumblering (31062) × 40
  • Firewind Kite (31063) × 40
  • Phantom Wolf (31064) × 40

The server uses x3 drop rates, so all drop chances below are shown with the multiplier already applied.
