Abyss Crimson (Instance)
Abyss Crimson is a custom endgame farming instance. Players use an Abyss Crimson Waystone to open a personal instance layer on one of two possible maps, with bonuses determined by the Waystone's enchant options. Each party may only have one active Abyss Crimson map at a time, and there is a per-character cooldown between runs.
Waystone Types
Two Waystone formats are supported:
- Random Option Waystones — modern enchant-slot Waystones with 5 random options, one per bonus category below.
Waystone Bonus Slots
The final bonus drop chance stacks multiplicatively: base chance → + cluster bonus → + Waystone drop-rate bonus → + party size bonus.
Monster Clusters
Each Waystone's Monster Cluster selection determines which set of monsters spawns and respawns throughout the run:
- Niflheim — highest drop-rate cluster bonus (+20%)
- Oz Labyrinth — moderate bonus (+10%)
- Gray Wolf Forest — no cluster bonus, but its own distinct monster pool
Party Scaling
Only online, qualifying party members (Base Level 175+) count toward scaling:
- Initial Monsters: 50 base + 10 per additional qualifying party member
- Party Drop Bonus: +10% final drop chance per additional qualifying party member
Boss Encounters
- Mini Bosses: Spawn immediately at instance start if the Waystone rolled a Mini Boss modifier (1–3 of them).
- MVP: If the Waystone rolled the MVP modifier, defeating 500 monsters causes a Mysterious Figure NPC to appear; interacting with it summons the MVP. MVP rewards include Instance Coins, a chance at a Blacksmith Blessing or Gold, and a guaranteed Sealed Temporal Circlet.
- Treasure Chest: Appears after 100 kills, granting one-time rewards per character (Blacksmith Blessing, Kachua Key, Eden Coins, or Event Coins, weighted by roll).
Rewards Summary
| Source | Reward |
|---|---|
| Regular monster kills | Chance at the Waystone's selected Bonus Drop item |
| Mini Boss kills | 5–15 Instance Coins; 10% chance of Blacksmith Blessing |
| MVP kill | 25–50 Instance Coins; chance of Blacksmith Blessing or Gold; guaranteed Sealed Temporal Circlet |
| Treasure Chest | One random reward per character (Blacksmith Blessing / Kachua Key / Eden Coins x30 / Event Coins x30) |
Notes
- Reaching the 1,025 kill limit ends the instance automatically; all party members are warped out 30 seconds later.
- No new monsters spawn once 1,000 kills are reached (spawn limit), though the instance remains active until the kill limit is hit.
- The instance can be re-entered at any time before it's destroyed via the Enter my last Abyss Map option, or manually cleared via Destroy my last Abyss Map.
