2. Early Leveling (1–99)
The main leveling path is based on the Eden Group system.
- Visit the Eden Group after starting
- Complete level-appropriate Eden quests
- Gain experience, equipment, and consumables
- Eden gear provides the best early-game equipment
Eden quests will guide you smoothly through the early stages of the game.
Default Leveling Place:
Leveling Guide
The following table lists recommended grinding spots for each level range. Use the provided warp commands to reach each location quickly.
Juno Monster Society (quests from 70 to 100+)
Juno Monster Society Upon reaching lv70, you can apply for field hunting quests with the respective NPC around certain regions.
There are Monster Society Assistants on some cities, most easily accessible is in Veins, along with a vending machine that sells
Carbonated Water for 50k zeny
The carbonated water can be given to the NPC to teleport you to a field where these missions can be obtained. but generally is a waste of money since you can teleport to most fields.
When you are ready for these missions, a yellow + symbol will appear on the minimap, with the position of the Map Examiner of that field.
The Map Examiner will give you a quest to hunt 80 monsters in that certain field, upon completion, the + symbol will appear again, letting you know you are ready to turn in the quest for a decent amount of EXP You can give the NPC 3x Carbonated Water to reset the cooldown of the mission (Resets around 4am Server time) but it is not recommended as there are enough missions to get to max or close.
Additional note: I don't recommend upon this point picking up Eden Board Quests as the later ones give no Job EXP, thus making it an additional chore to get the remaining Job levels once you hit 99.
Additional note #2: Starlight Coral Cave (mal_dun01) is inaccessible through warper until lv99, you can enter through the Assistant NPC by giving her a Carbonated Water but the mobs will vastly outlevel you, wouldn't recommend
Same can be said about lhz_field03 (Main population is lv92 Breeze which has Defender)
