Shadow Rift Instance

Eden Rift Operation

Eden Rift Operation is a party-based wave instance located inside the Forsacrum battlefield.

This instance is designed as a cooperative challenge where players must clear several enemy waves, activate rift portals, and claim rewards after each completed stage. The further your party progresses, the better the reward pool becomes.

Entry Requirements

To enter Eden Rift Operation, players must meet the following requirements:

• You must be in a party.
• Party size must be between 1 and 6 players.
• All online party members must stand near the entry NPC before the instance can be created.
• The party must not already be bound to another active instance.
• All party members must be off cooldown.

The entry NPC can be found in Valquora.

Instance Flow

After entering the instance, players must speak with the Rift Console to begin the operation.

The instance consists of 4 consecutive waves.

General flow:

1. Enter the instance through the Eden Rift Operator.
2. Speak with the Rift Console to start.
3. Defeat all monsters in the current wave.
4. Claim your reward from the Reward Chest.
5. Use the Shadow Items Merchant if needed.
6. Activate all 3 Rift Portals.
7. Use the Rift Transfer Device to proceed to the next wave.
8. Clear the final wave and claim the final reward.

Rift Monitor

Inside the instance, players can speak with the Rift Monitor to check the current status of the operation.

The monitor displays:

• Current wave.
• Current phase.
• Number of players inside.
• Saved party size for scaling.
• Remaining monsters during active waves.
• Portal activation progress between waves.

Party Scaling

Eden Rift Operation scales depending on the saved party size when the instance starts.

The party size is saved when the operation begins. This means the instance uses the starting party size for scaling during the run.

Waves

Each wave spawns monsters in the Forsacrum battlefield area. Players must defeat all enemies before the next phase begins.

Rift Portals

After clearing Waves 1, 2, and 3, players must activate three Rift Portals before they can continue.

Once all 3 portals are activated, the Rift Transfer Device appears. Speak with it to proceed to the next stage.

Rewards

After each cleared wave, every eligible party member can claim one reward from the Reward Chest.

Each player can claim the chest once per wave.

Shadow Items Merchant

After each wave is cleared, the Shadow Items Merchant appears near the Reward Chest.

This merchant allows players to exchange Shadow Coins for useful Shadow-related consumables.

The merchant is only available to members of the party that cleared the instance wave.

After the final wave is cleared, the instance is considered complete.
